This series consists of Northern Territory pastoral plans as related to the imperial Australian topographic map series at one inch: 4 miles (1:253 440) and Australia 1:250 000 topographic map series post 1960. The maps are separated into two books, one for the Northern and one for the Southern Region. The front of each book includes an index pastoral map for the Northern Territory of Australia with an overlay showing the localities of each pastoral holding. The maps were used to plot and document Stock Routes; Pastoral Leases (PL); Aboriginal Reserves (AR); Perpetual Pastoral Leases (PPL); NT Portions (NT Por); National Parks, Reserves (R) and changes to the types of lease.
